Terms and Conditions
Eligibility
Prizes are given through PayPal, which requires it's users to be over 18 years old. Also, privacy laws prevent collecting email addresses from children. You agree that you are over the age of 18, or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian.
Games do not have to be made for this competition. You can submit games you have already made.
Entries are only eligible through using this form. Only content publicly posted (shared) on the Scratch website (scratch.mit.edu) is eligible. The word 'game' is not restricted to video games, but also includes art, animations, stories, and other content.
You agree to submit only your own games, and not a stolen game. Games that infringe on copyright or intellectual property may be ineligible for receiving a prize. Cheating, malpractice, gaming the system, fraud, etc. are not tolerated and will make an entry ineligible.
Submissions close on February 1st, 2024.
Disclaimers
There is no guarantee that all games submitted will be played or featured in a video (although I will try to play as many as I can).
I may comment, criticize, and give feedback on all games submitted.
License
You give me permision to play your game in a YouTube video. This permision cannot be revoked. You will be credited :)
Email List
Submitting this form will sign you up to my email list. You agree to receive promotional, advertising, and marketing content from me - as well as really cool and epic content. (When I actually start doing email stuff) Of course, unsubscribe at any time.
Prizes
Winners are chosen at my sole discretion. Winners will be chosen only from eligible entries.
Winners will receive an email to the email address provided when submitting this form. The email will ask for a PayPal account to send prize money to. Prize money can only be received through PayPal, no alternative payment methods are accepted. Prize money is provided in Australian dollars. All prizes are in accord with the values listed on this website.
Winners must respond in a reasonable time-frame or their prize money will be forfeited. If winners are unable to claim their prize money (i.e. don't have a functioning PayPal account) a new person may be chosen as a winner in their place.
If fewer games are eligible than prizes to be given (i.e., less than 13 valid entries), then prizes may be modified appropriately.
Severability
If any part of these terms are found to be illegal, unenforceable, too funny for lawyers, or invalid, it shall not affect any other part of the terms. This provision especially applies to the following 'Warranty' section.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THIS COMPETITION, PRIZES, AND RELATED MATERIALS (PLATFORM) IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THOSE OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE MADE WITH RESPECT TO THIS COMPETITION OR ANY INFORMATION OR SOFTWARE THEREIN. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALL WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS THAT WOULD OTHERWISE BE IMPLIED BY STATUTE, CUSTOM OR COMMON LAW ARE EXPRESSLY EXCLUDED FROM THESE TERMS, AND DO NOT APPLY WITH RESPECT TO THE PLATFORM AND ANY INFORMATION OR SOFTWARE CONTAINED THEREIN. DONUTASK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE IF THE PLATFORM OR RELATED ELEMENTS ARE MISUSED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PLAYING SHREKOPHONE FOR TEN (10) HOURS, MAKING NUCLEAR WEAPONS, MAKING BIOLOGICAL WEAPONS, MAKING JUST PLAIN NORMAL WEAPONS, RICKROLLING THE PRINCIPAL, SQUARE DANCING IN A CIRCULAR ROOM, HITTING THE GRIDDY IN CLASS, FREEZE-RAYING THE TEACHER, ANTIDISESTABLISHMENTARIANISM, OR USING SCRATCH IN A UNIVERSITY LECTURE HALL.
